FCUK THE FAKES takes Sunday spot at Vista, Privilege.

After the launch of Solid Grooves new tongue in cheek concept ‘FCUK THE FAKES’ last month, the brand have now announced the full line-up for the 2019 Ibiza season.

Returning to their weekly Sunday spot at Privilege’s Vista Club between 23rd June and 22nd September, the bill includes a host of up-and-coming and globally loved heavyweight DJ talent such as Cassy, Skream, Michael Bibi, Route 94, Darius Syrossian and Richy Ahmed.

FCUK THE FAKES kicks off Sunday, 23rd June with Dennis Cruz, Anotr, Pawsa, Michael Bibi and a special guest for their opening party.Solid Grooves - Privilege 2019The ‘Solid Sundays’ event also sees a slew of  hotly tipped acts confirmed in Rebūke, Mason Collective and Mason Maynard, while FUSE resident Seb Zito also joins ranks plus tINI, wAFF, Latmun and Detlef.

This exciting campaign is designed to represent the more authentic, unpretentious side of the island’s club culture rebelling against the crowd who have become accustomed to the VIP experience and encouraging true fans to #FCUKTHEFAKES this Summer.

Solid Grooves Announce Headliners For Privilege Ibiza

The fresh and energetic Solid Grooves party crew announce the huge names who will join them each week of their summer residency at Vista Club Privilege.

From Sunday 10th June and every Sunday right through to 23rd September you can expect the best house and techno sounds from the likes of James Zabiela, Nick Curly, Richy Ahmed, Skream, Huxley, wAFF, Josh Butler, Anek, Audiojack, Dennis Cruz, Dense & Pika, Mason Collective and many, many more.

This is the third season of Solid Grooves in Ibiza and is sure to be the best yet with some massive headliners. The party is a no nonsense affair with big and emotive sets, cosmopolitan crowds the smoke and lasers of Vista Club immersing you deep in the party and lost in the music with a bunch of proper music lovers. There is a fantastic spread of styles from long time heroes and new school stars at the party this year, and all of them are set to bring their own unique sense of energy each week. As well as this, some of the events this season will be in collaboration with other key event brands such as KALUKI and Portal, who will link up and bring their own hard earned know how to two events each.Solid Grooves IbizaPutting the meaty sound system through its paces will be quality names from across the spectrum. These include the likes of titanic techno and Hotflush pair Dense & Pika, DJ wizard and recent Balance mix star James Zabiela, Ibiza based 2020 Vision associates Audiojack, a live set from Crosstown’s Guti, and every aspect of house and tech from key talents such as Richy Ahmed, Secondcity, Fuse’s Seb Zito, London pair Leftwing & Kody, Aus and Hypercolour innovator Huxley and dubby tech man East End Dubs.

Sense Traxx Release Ibiza Dates

With UK events causing a stir the team are heading to the white isle for two exclusive shows.

After conquering London’s Shoreditch Platform twice in the space of two months, as well as hosting headliners such as Kevin Over and Sidney Charles in their hometown, Sense Traxx have taken 2018 by storm and they aren’t about to take their foot off the gas just yet.

In December the imprint celebrated 5 years in the game and since then they’ve not stopped putting on events and releasing records with some of the biggest names in the business, and now as the summer beckons, the Essex-based imprint are bringing their party to the white isle.

 

On Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd May, Sense Traxx will be bringing their ‘House, Disco, Good Times’ to Ibiza, and as usual they’re pulling out all the stops. First up is a ‘sunset party’ at San Antonio hotspot The Beach Club – you can expect the usual clan of Sense residents, friends and a few surprises in a beautiful outdoor seafront venue.The Blue Room (Es Paradis)Then later that night, they will be taking the party to The Blue Room (Es Paradis) for a very exclusive and intimate after-party that will round off an incredible 24-hours of music in the sun.

Abode have found a new home on the white Isle.

London’s forever growing event Abode has announced a new summer residency at the 5000 capacity super-club Amnesia. They will be taking over the legendary terrace every Thursday from 14th June until 27th September filling the space left by club brand Cream. They will be joined by Darius Syrossian and the Do Not Sleep crew, who take control of the club room with their no nonsense house and techno manifesto.Do Not Sleep Ibiza 2018

Fatboy Slim joins Julien Temple’s Silent Movie Project

The film will feature music from and curated by the DJ.

Mr Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) will join Julien Temple on his forthcoming project, ‘Ibiza – The Silent Movie’. He will be joining as the film’s music director and will also feature music by the British DJ.

Winners Revealed For The 20th Annual DJ Awards

The results for 2017 are in.

The 20th annual DJ Awards took places at one of the most talked about venue on the island this year, Hi Ibiza.

For two decades now, the non-profit organisation has been supporting DJ and the whole culture surrounding it and last night was no exception as emotions were high and good vibes were in the air.

Dutch producer Hardwell, grabbed two awards by beating the likes of David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki and The Chainsmokers for best ‘Big Room House’ as well as Carl Cox, Dixon, Eric Prydz and Sven Vath for best ‘International DJ’.dj-awards-2017-hardwellHannah Wants won best Bass DJ taking on Andy C, Chase & Status, Pendulum, Subfocus and Sigma, while Armin Van Buuren took the top spot, winning best Trance DJ.

Favorites, Carl Cox and Luciano, won best Techno DJ and best Tech House DJ. Richie Hawtin wins best Electronic Live Performance.dj-awards-ceremony-2017-hi-ibiza-IMG_2479Special awards winners went to Dimensions Festival, for best International Festival. Pure Carl Cox for best Ibiza Music Event and Elrow taking best Ibiza Night.

Six-dates have been announced for 2017 and will take place this summer at one of the most unique venues, Benimussa Park in Ibiza. The line-up is still to be unveiled, but we have been told to “expect the unexpected”.

BBC Radio 1 Announce Huge Line-Up For Ibiza Weekender

This is the party you do not want to miss.

BBC Radio 1 returns to Ibiza, for an impressive 23rd year, from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th August with a line up as hot as the White Isle weather.

The three day event will take place at the legendary Café Mambo and the newly unveiled Hï Ibiza. They feature three radio broadcasts showcasing a who’s who of modern electronic music.

“The BBC Radio 1 Weekend Ibiza 2017 is considered the ultimate peak of the season, with thousands of extra clubbers and tourists descending upon the party capital of Ibiza purely for a weekend of music showcased by the pinnacle of musical platforms” – BBC Radio 1.

The weekend will, of course, feature some of your favourite DJs from the Radio 1 roster.
