Top 100 DJS 2017 In Aid with Unicef

Helping children in danger.

The world’s most popular DJ poll is back for 2017 and this year DJ Mag partner up with global children’s organisation, Unicef.

Unicef providie 80% of the world’s life-saving emergency food, making sure that children grow up healthy and strong, with more children being vaccinated and help with their education. Unicef are a protected organisation and work in over 190 countries.

Unicef’s UK Deputy Executive Director, Catherine Cottrell said this about the partnership:

“We would like to thank DJ Mag for supporting Unicef through the 2017 Top 100 DJ’s poll. The money raised through working with this long-established cornerstone of the dance music calendar will have a great impact on the lives of children around the world. DJ Mag readers’ donations will help Unicef to continue to protect children in danger and transform their lives. With your help, we can make the world a safer place for children.”

DJ Mag responded with:

“The fact that we’re raising money and awareness for Unicef this year adds an extra layer of importance to this year’s Top 100 DJs poll. We’ll be using voting process, events and awards ceremony to raise money and awareness for this worthy cause”.

The DJ Mag Top 100 DJ’s is the worlds biggest music poll and generates over a million votes each year.

Last year, 21 year old EDM DJ, producer Martin Garrix took the top spot and was claimed number one in the Top 100 DJ 2016 with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike who have moved down a position after being at number one the year before. Hardwell came in at number three followed by Armin Van Buuren  and Tiesto.

 The voting will open on Wednesday 5th July at 12:00pm (BST) and will end Wednesday 13th September at 11.59pm (BST), the results will be counted, verified and announced at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) award show between Thursday 18th until 22nd October 2017.
